If one was visiting my house right now, they might think they had blacked out and "lost time". While the 4th of July is quickly approaching. My hall tree defiantly shouts, "Halloween!" I didn't have the heart to throw out this lovely pumpkin. I hate pumpkin pie, and this is a jack-o-lantern variety, so I can't make anything with it. I'm just going to admire it until it starts to turn yucky, then throw it away.Note to self: Add repaint hall tree to "to do" list.

Instead of Christmas in July, You can host Halloween in July. You can dress in costumes, and the works. Maybe decorate the pumpkin like the Statue of Liberty or Abe Lincoln, George Washington, a firecracker, etc. The possiblities are endless. You will have the most unique 4th of July celebration in your neighborhood or town for that matter. I say, get your mileage out of the odd timed arrival of this pumpkin.
That's a cute idea. I may dress her up for the 4th.
