Don't Judge Me...

I had to document this moment. Yes, I know it's a silly thing to blog about. 10 days post-partum. The scale told me that I lost another 3 pounds yesterday. So, I decided to break out my regular size 2 jeans today. And, drumroll please.............they fit. Woo hoo! That'll cheer a girl up on a rainy day. Let's not discuss the muffin top of stretched out tummy skin. That's a challenge for another day.

And I thought I did good being back into my jeans by 5 weeks- hahaha.

yeah, that will be me 8 months from now....we can't all be tiny I guess, although I did buy a regular size 6 swimsuit, to encourage me.

Now if only the baby would make his debut... actually I can wait another week, then he will be healthy for sure

Holy Cow, that's impressive. Sadly, if I'm anything like my mother I will pack an extra 50 lbs on my 115 lb frame during pregnancy (please no). That doesn't come off quickly.

lucky!!! I am 6 weeks postpartum and can barely fit in my "big girl" (size 6) jeans. I guess I need to take the shuffle out for more jogs. ;)

I can't actually claim any credit for this though. It's entirely genetic. Then again, so is the fact that any time I weigh over 105 lbs my belly looks pouchy (I carry any extra weight in the middle). I started out at 105 lbs, and yesterday I was back at 113. I usually stay around 110 until I quit nursing and then the last 5 lbs comes off without much effort. I ate at least half of a 9x13 inch pan of Oreo Ice Cream Cake this week. Not to mention a mountain of other things. X eats every couple of hours though, so I guess that's where the calories are going.
