I love comments. I think (almost) everyone does. It makes me feel like I'm in high school again, and my popularity is determined by the number of comments on my blog. When several posts in a row get no comments, I wonder if everyone has stopped reading this silly little journal of mine. It makes me want to post something really inflammatory just to get the comments flowing again. I'm secretly jealous of blogs that always get a lot of comments. According to stat counter (though the counter at the bottom of this page disagrees) this blog has had 24,000 hits. Apparently my readers are not terribly verbose.
Some people do NOT love comments. Here is a funny blog post about one of those people. I laughed out loud, literally. Especially when I realized that this is indeed a "mom blog".

So, this is really funny because this was posted on Joanie's blog because it's her friend- is that how you found it? I never clicked over on the link from her blog, but you had me too curious. Maybe I should have updated my blog rather than read all that though... I'm SO behind that I'm giving up, but at least the barfies ACTUALLY left this pregnancy so now I can tolerate the computer again. And look, I left you a comment too! ;)

I figure that with all of the people who I see with their full names and addresses on their blogs, along with every personal detail of their lives...I'm not going to worry too much about strangers who might want to leave a friendly comment on my blog. If I was a stalker, I would choose one of the many available "easy targets", of course I could be wrong.

My cousin (I guess you're related to her too) posted about that blog on her blog in the last few weeks because it is one of her friends/co-workers. I thought maybe you'd found it through Joan's blog off of mine. I enjoy reading Joan's blog too and I never clicked over to this funny blog until you posted it because I figured it had to be great if you're also talking about it.
