It's Never Boring

I must have some type of cognitive impairment. That is the only excuse for deciding to attempt to shop with 4 kids in tow...yet again. B&J still needed a couple of pairs of shorts and school shoes, and I knew if I didn't go now...all of the shorts would be gone. I was right. I managed to snag 4 pairs off of the clearance rack, and everything else was long sleeves and pants...in July...in Tx...where it's still hot on Halloween...sigh. X still has his extreme manly aversion to stores. He knows the moment you push the stroller into a store, and immediately starts crying non-stop, until you push the stroller back outside. It was ugly.B spends hours each day setting up elaborate scenes like these. If I had to guess, I would say that Barbie has been tied to Dora's garden shack using wiki-sticks, by the evil giant rainbow birthday My Little Pony. Barbie's "knight"...in this case dad, from the Loving Family Dollhouse does not appear to be doing a very good job of rescuing her. It appears that Barbie will have to save herself...no biggie. What role the spotted frog is playing...remains a mystery. This expression says, "What do you mean he's on a phone conference?! I need to see him immediately!!!"We gave X a few bites of rice cereal the other night. Cue the zealots to yell comments about how it's too early to feed him cereal. In our defense...starting with B (when the recommendation was cereal at 4 months) we've started them all right around 4 months depending on how ravenously hungry they've been...no problems so far. I don't think we'll give him any more until after our vacation though. I don't need any possible digestive issues for that. He's laughing in the picture because he liked it so much. No tongue thrusting like one would expect, just gobbling it up.I like Daniel's hands, they're so...I don't know...attractive. I love manly looking hands. Did I just say that out loud? Shhhh. Let's pretend I didn't.

we started solids at 4 months and were happy about it... until N couldn't poop for 3 or more months- so sad! We're waiting till 5+ months with the next little guy. But I think there's nothing wrong with starting at 4 months, they are so hungry anyway. :)

X looks SO cute in those eating pictures, love that grin!
