CAT Scan

I had a CAT scan today on my neck/lymph nodes...and it was not fun. First I had to sit for 2 hours because despite the fact that my Dr sent me the referral form, they somehow forgot to call and authorize the procedure with my insurance company. Two and a half hours after my appointment time, I finally got in for my scan. Two scans actually. The first one was easy. Then, they did the iodine one. When they turned on the iodine into my veins, I felt like someone lit my entire body on fire, and then I couldn't breathe. I managed to stay still until she rolled me out of the machine, and then I threw up 5 times. Lame. Hopefully, it will turn out normal. Next up, wisdom teeth removal. The consult is next week. If I never see another Dr again, it will be too soon.

Man! You poor thing! Why are they doing these crazy tests? Is it your thyroid still? You gotta let me know what's going on girl. Thank goodness Daniel could be there with you. I hope the results are good and worth the effort. When's the wisdom tooth surgery then?

Yikes. I'd much rather do it than the kids also. I hope it isn't too hard on him.

P.S. No, now my thyroid is large, but not abnormally large for a person with thyroid dysfunction. They wanted to CAT scan my lymph nodes to get a better look at them. Wisdom teeth surgeon consult is Tuesday, extraction is ???

P.P.S. Daniel wasn't there. I sent him to work after we waited for 90 minutes with no sign of resolution.
